Emmet Heffernan's passion has always lied in the making of hurleys. For years he has been repairing hurls for his local club in Galway and even in these recessionary times has taken the risk of finally starting up his own hurley making business. As a keen player himself, he can easily meet the demands of the player. His knowledge of hurley making extends from the years of practice from working with his father, John and especially with the help of family and good friends he began the full-time business. |
